Player Bio

When I was 9 I began coaching with Marcel Vos, the current New Zealand Davis Cup Coach. I trained with Marcel until I was 14, where I started training with Werner Venter. During my time with these coaches my desire to become a professional tennis player increased greatly and I was able to work my way up the national rankings. This year, 2011, I met my new coach, Luis Luna. He has brought a whole new physical and mental level to my tennis and changed my attitude towards the game.

My current goal is to gain a scholarship into an American College where I will be able to further both my tennis and academic careers. Becoming a professional tennis player has been my dream for as long as I can remember, and I am willing to work as hard as I can to achieve this goal. I also recognize the importance of achieving high academic results and I am confident in my abilities to stay on top of my studies.
