Charles is LTA, USPTA, and PTR certified tennis coach and has developed his coaching style whist working at numerous top tennis clubs throughout the south coast of England. As a coach Charles has travelled extensively and benefitted from being able to fulfill his full potential whist coaching a wide variety a abilities in the United Kingdom, United States , Anguilla (BWI) and Europe.
Charles has been playing tennis for 15 years and coaching for 9. He has played tennis at many levels through junior county and national tournaments. In 2001 he gained a tennis sponsorship in Nashville Tennessee, USA. He played for Cumberland University men’s team, collecting the award for team’s best winning percentage. He finished his playing career with Brighton University in England. Charles graduated from Brighton University with a 2:1 in Bsc (Hons) degree in Business with Marketing. In the summer of 2005 he took the position as head assistant tennis coach at Cumberland University (NAIA), where is held the post for two years. Charles took the men’s team to two regional finals and the 2007 national finals. In 2007 he gradated with a Masters degree in organizational leadership and human relations (GPA 3.7)
Charles is currently working at Preston Lawn tennis club as performance co-coordinator where many promoting performance juniors play.
