Coach Registration

Prospective US college students and their parents are often surprised to hear that a student-athletes sports scholarship financial aid is only contracted for one year at a time.  This means that the student-athlete must do what is asked of them in terms of both their academic grades and their sporting performances.  If both of these areas are performed to the satisfaction of the coach and the college then the student-athletes sports scholarship will be renewed for the full four years one year at a time.  

But please be aware that if either of these areas is not up to their satisfaction then the college and coach are under no obligation to renew your scholarship aid, so you will be required to either pay for the college costs yourself or transfer to another college in order to finish your  major.
