Play Atlantic would like to congratulate two USA college tennis scholarships recruits in their performance at the recent U18 New Zealand national championships. Both Andy Van Der Vyver and Chester Espie reached the semi finals and showed great spirit and termination throughout the week.

Chester has already signed a tennis scholarship for Stetson University, which was recently voted as the #3 college in the South by the US News. Stestson is located inbetween Orlando and Daytona beach in DeLand Florida. Andy is in the process of being recruited and is currently talking to a number of top US universities who are trying to persuade him to sign scholarship papers with them for the Spring 2013.

In the last ten years athletic scholarships have become more popular with student athletes. Over $1 Billion in full and partial scholarships are awarded by the NCAA every year to over 126,000 undergraduate student athletes who compete at Division I and Division II schools.  The funds are awarded and administered directly through the individual institution. There are also a large amount of scholarships available in The NJCAA (National Junior College Athletic Association) and the NAIA (National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics).
